Phil has 32 years’ experience in the M&E services industry; the first 20 years of this was spent serving an apprenticeship and working his way through to senior management level at NG Bailey. Phil joined Longcross Group in 1997 and in collaboration with his co-directors has developed the M&E division into a limited company increasing turnover from humble beginnings to a multi-million pound business. He has a wealth of experience across all types of M&E projects in all market sectors.



Phil has also been instrumental in the business achieving and maintaining the Investors in People Standard and Quality Assurance to ISO9001:2008. He has attended many training courses throughout his career consisting of technical, managerial and financial content and has Certification with the British Safety Council in H&S for Directors & Senior Management. Most recently the concentration has been on personal development with a focus on ensuring the development of others in the business.

Tim left college in 1989 and joined Henry Riley Group, where he stayed for 9 years, progressing to Director level for the last 3 years, before leaving to work on a consultancy basis. This led to further experience being gained in different roles within the industry when he was involved in M&E services project management and M&E surveying management on various major projects. In 2001 Tim joined Longcross as Commercial Manager, and within 18 months was promoted to Finance Director for LX Engineering.
