Target Waste - ERF Staffordshire

Target Waste - ERF StaffordshireLX Engineering has just been awarded the services package for the new Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) to be built at Four Ashes, Staffordshire. The facility is being designed to handle 300,000 tonnes of residual waste from Staffordshire as well as waste from surrounding boroughs. The waste is desposited into the tipping hall and then transported via a series of cranes and conveyor belts into the furnace where it is incinerated. LXE - A Platform for Success

LXE - A Platform for SuccessLX Engineering recently completed the electrical upgrade works to the £7million renovation of Sunderland Railway Station - the works comprised of a complete upgrade of the existing lighting, power, fire alarm, CCTV, and the Customer Information Displays. LX Engineering has been selected for inclusion within the shortlist of contractors for the Wm Morrison Supermarket Framework Agreement for M&E Services.

The 2 year multi million pound framework will include work on new build and conversions as well as extensions/alterations to Morrisons’ existing portfolio of supermarket stores. Top of the Class – Ridgewood School ProjectLX Engineering are undertaking the £1.1m M&E element of the project for a new £5m Sixth Form Centre at Ridgewood School in Doncaster, with the M&E element of the project being carried out from November 2010 through until the Spring in 2011. The main contractor, Allenbuild are undertaking the project via the YORbuild Construction Framework.

The new building incorporates an array of sustainability features including solar generators and rainwater collection.
